Ms. Akguloglu was appointed Trade Commissioner for Turkey in Chicago in June 2010 being responsible for 13 Midwest States, covering all industries and assisting Turkish companies in terms of bilateral trade and investment. She graduated as an economist from Hacettepe University in Ankara and she holds a masters degree (MA) in economics from Western Michigan University. Sevtap serves for the Ministry of Economy of Turkey since 1991 having an extensive experience in international trade (imports, exports, safeguard implications, trade shows etc) . She served as a Trade Commissioner in Shanghai/China between 2002-2006. Before joining the Ministry of Economy, she worked as an Import & Marketing Manager with a biomedical engineering company in Turkey. She started her career with Marconi Telecommunications System Ltd. in Essex/UK. She completed a certificate program on `project management` organized by European Commission. She served as the President of the CITCA from September 2012 – June 2014.
Mr. Franz Roessler
Trade Commissioner for Austria

Franz Roessler has a Graduate Degree in Business Administration from the Karl-Franzens University in Graz and a comprehensive background in marketing and international relations. He previously served as the Regional Director for Southeastern Europe in the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna, assisting Austrian companies interested in the region. Prior to that, he was posted as Commercial Attaché at the Austrian Embassies in Washington, D.C., Beijing, and Warsaw. Franz Roessler served as the Chairman of the Chicago International Trade Commissioners Association CITCA from January 2010 – December 2011. Other affiliations include Executive Club of Chicago, International Trade Club of Chicago, and Industrial Roundtable of the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago.
